Welcome to Your House
If you want a change in government, you have to vote. I'm Tom Lopac, and I'm running for the Minnesota House to restore trust and bring commonsense leadership to St. Paul.
Why I'm Running
Minnesotans Deserve Better
I'm seeking office to help restore trust in government and bring practical, commonsense leadership to St. Paul. Minnesotans deserve leaders who will listen, work across the aisle on differences, and put the needs of their communities first.
After more than two decades in engineering and quality management — including years guiding companies through complex regulatory requirements in the medical device industry — I know what it takes to solve problems methodically, manage budgets responsibly, and deliver results. That's the approach I'll bring to the Minnesota House.
I'm active at the State Capitol as a lead with the Capitol Pray Network, praying for our elected officials during the legislative session. I've seen firsthand how government can lose sight of the people it's supposed to serve. It's time for a change.
My Priorities
Fighting for What Matters
Fiscal Responsibility
Common-sense budgeting to restore fiscal stability, reduce taxes, and protect taxpayers from waste and fraud.
Public Safety
Supporting local and state law enforcement so families feel secure in their homes and neighborhoods.
Education Excellence
Restoring competitiveness in our schools and creating real opportunities for students after graduation.
Limited Government
Reducing the size of government, reforming welfare, and empowering individuals to be self-sustaining.
Community Leadership
Listening to You
I believe true representation begins with listening. Whether I'm meeting with community members at the Capitol, leading prayer for our elected officials, or working with the Dakota Election Integrity Group as a certified election judge, I'm committed to being present and engaged.
My background in engineering and quality management taught me that the best solutions come from understanding the problem first. That's why I'll always put listening before legislating.
